Daily Maintenance Weigh In - TGIF 1/4/2013
Good morning!
Today's weight 136.6. Still bloated but not as bad today.
This weekend we're driving to Baltimore for a wood-working show. Actually, Hubs goes for the show, I go for the company. Have to have some seafood while we're there. Cold here this weekend, but warming up a little next week.
Happy Friday! Any big weekend plans for you?
Highest weight: 335 lbs, BMI 50.9
Pre-op weight: 319 lbs, BMI 48.5
Current range: 140-144, BMI 21.3 - 22
175+ lbs lost, maintaining since February 2012
Ah, Maryland crabs, have one for me!
172.4 today. Still fighting holiday bloat - my diet didn't change much, but sitting in the car for days on end seems to have stalled me out a bit. But still only 2 lbs above my lowest ever.
Got my bike put back together and set up in front of the TV for some heavy training sessions this weekend to knock out some of the bloat.
Just started a new on-line course from Johns Hopkins (Baltimore!) on "Computing for Data Analysis" to go along with my years-long pursuit of learning French (two one-on-one lessons with a tutor per week plus homework), so I'm starting to get busy - I have to pay attention to not using that as an excuse to avoid exercise!!! So in addition to weight I'm going to try to list out the previous days workout to keep me honest :)
Yesterday: Nothing - too busy (and so it begins!)
Plan for today: 1200 calories in, burn ~1000 on the bike.

Thanks - I find regular (as in near daily) exercise to be a requirement of my new life, so I just have to find a way to schedule it. This week - just back from the holidays - has been tough, but I have to get better at prioritizing exercise above most other things.

106.2 today. That's better. Almost two pounds down from yesterday. I could feel it leaving my body too. I was cold all over, but mostly in my extremities and ran to the bathroom all day long. I knew I would love the scale this morning. Today, I need to focus on not giving in and stopping the loss. I want to see the full 105 lbs or under.
I am going to listen to a good band (my husband's friend is in it) tonight, and I am not yet sure about the weekend. I am thinking about going to SF for at least one of the days. I could use a little shopping trip.
on 1/4/13 2:49 am - CA
99.4 lbs today. I'm okay with that number but not okay with the (downward) trend. Need to eat more peanut butter, avocados and mac nuts!
I'm going to see the "The Hobbit" tomorrow, then do some indoor rock climbing on Sunday. So nothing special really.
Have a great day all!
