Daily Maintenance Weigh In - Thursday 12/27
Good morning!
Today's weight: 135.2
Back on track with my eating even though I didn't gain as I had hoped. I just think it's too risky for me to allow myself to eat sweets regularly even if I am below my desired weight. Kind of confusing, but life is never simple.
So how do you guys feel about New Year's resolutions? I have never had much luck with them, but always feel guilty that I don't make any.
Highest weight: 335 lbs, BMI 50.9
Pre-op weight: 319 lbs, BMI 48.5
Current range: 140-144, BMI 21.3 - 22
175+ lbs lost, maintaining since February 2012
176.8 Today - On the way back down.
Today is my 42nd Birthday.
Hubby and I will be Baking my Birthday cake today. It just going to be a simple golden cake with butter-rum icing. Then when I get off work we will probably go for a walk then out for the evening. I already got wishes from someone saying "they wish they were here" when they made the choice to not be. I will not let that mess with my day. Today will be about me and Thomas and celebrating our lives together and my new health.

I too hope that you have a wonderful evening with Thomas. You deserve that and much more!
163.2 today. Getting closer to "normal".
i do plan on some resolutions, but for once not related to weight (those never worked!). But now that I have my new bionic knee I want to develop a complete exercise plan. I also need to make some financial resolutions - ugh. But mostly I want to develop a personal bucket list of things I want to do this upcoming year, that I couldn't do before - kayaking being number one!
Judy
Happy Birthday Rob!
As for New Year's resolutions, I only have one, and its the same every year: to not make any New Yea'rs resolutions. They never worked for me so it seems kind of pointless to make any.
I stayed on liquids all day yesterday and the scale is on the way down. 165.2 today. I need to get another .8 gone to get to pre-Christmas weight. That shouldn't be too bad.
Have a great day everyone!
Happy Birthday Rob!
No resolutions from now on. I find I get the exact opposite of what I want. I wanted more travel and socializing in 2012. Then DH got laid off (back to work now) and the year was just rough and stressful.

170.6 today. Going to push to get into the 160s by Jan 1. Sooooo close.
Heading out for a bike ride - need to get a picture in my new jersey today.
