Daily Maintenance Weigh In - Maya Apocalypse edition
What, you're still here? Me too. Sigh. This makes the second year in a row that I've missed the end of the world. Apparently I'm not very good at this whole apocalypse thing. Ah, well. Practice makes perfect - anyone know when then next end of the world is scheduled to occur?
Today's weight: 136
We're all packed and ready to head out on our road trip to Memphis. We'll leave right after work tonight and try to get about halfway, then drive the rest of the way tomorrow. This will be my last weight until next Wednesday (maybe Thursday, depending on the timing of things).
NOTE: I'll be on the road Saturday morning. First one in please post the thread unless someone wants to volunteer in advance. I'll be able to post the rest of the holiday weekend.

I hope this doomsday talk is done for awhile. It would've sucked to hit goal and then die shortly afterwards!
http://www.youtube.com/user/72Crabadams Me rambling about my journey : )
Oh God - hope the world doesn't end today because.....I reached the century mark!!!!!!
Today's weight 161.2!!!!!!!!!! Very excited now on to goal in 1.2 lbs!!!
I had a great 5.5 mile run last night. I was not looking forward to it because the wind was raging and it was cold for here (45 F or so), but I put on my "cold weather" running gear, donned a warm yet absorbent hat and set off. Oh, I really love running in the cold (the wind, not so much)!! I ran with very few walking rests (mostly because of crossing the streets with traffic) and stayed aerobic during all except the hills!! Wish every run was that enjoyable.
Hey mom, have a great drive. We're packed and driving to Tucson this afternoon. Cold cold cold here in MN... 5 degrees, wind-chill below 0. I remember a time when I didn't bother with a coat most of the winter. Too much of my own insulation. Now it is FREEZING!
172.0 today... almost back to my lowest evah...
Wife got me an awesome biking jersey - she works at a medical device company that does pacemakers and spine implants, so it's got a big (anatomically correct) heart on the front and a spine on the back. I'll try to get a picture of it in Tucson.
Bonnes Fêtes à tous !
Tom

The next end of the world is in 2060 that I know of. That date is based on the alchemical works of Issac Newton. What will the history channel do now that they can't do 2012 end of the world all the time now?
You're going to Memphis? You will probably go right by me on your way there - depending on your route! I live right off of I40 just outside Nashville. Travel safe!
