Kelly Ripa- Comment
Watched part of a morning show today with my mom (she was watching it)
Not asking if anyone likes Kelly Ripa or not..... or if she is to skinny..... what ever.....
It's about a comment she made about her weight..... not new.... just interesting to hear it.....
She said..... (I think the words are pretty close)
"I don't like the pressure of having to lose weight.....so I try to eat well so I don't gain weight"
Again... nothing really new..... just sounded pretty good when I heard it.......

Certainly is a smart approach. Don't know if I could have done it pre-op; I think that's the most important thing the sleeve gives us - a fighting chance to do this like "normies" do.
Highest weight: 335 lbs, BMI 50.9
Pre-op weight: 319 lbs, BMI 48.5
Current range: 140-144, BMI 21.3 - 22
175+ lbs lost, maintaining since February 2012
Sure makes sense to me! I am finding this approach somewhat challenging though. This is my first holiday season at goal weight. Last year I was newly sleeved and mostly on full liquids during this time. This year, boy oh boy! The candy and sweets that surround me at school are just so enticing - but only sometimes. Other times, not so much. The past few days have been a test to say the least. I'll tell you, this journey sure can be humbling! The work is ongoing!
She said a funny about boobs one time. I rarely catch that show, but a few years ago, I was sick with some cold and decided to turn on the TV. She was sitting next to Regis and the topic turn to breasts.
She said, "I gave up on my boobs after my third child. These days, I just throw them over my shoulder and go about my day."
After having 2 kids and losing 80 + pounds from my highest weight, I know how she feels.
I could sow tube socks into my bras.
