Happy Monday !

Been up since 5a also.

Long 2 weeks of travel over - India 1 week and NY 1 week.  Actually lost weight overall.  Unfortunately, for whatever reason, up 2 since last checkin.

173.5 today.

Something about being on an airplane makes me bloat up a couple pounds.  From India to NY it was 3-4 lbs, which fell off quickly.  2 lbs yesterday.

A day of two of very disciplined eating seems to fix that - so it's pretty clearly jus****er weight. But frustrating since I'm on a plane so often!

That happens to me every time I am on an airplane!  Like you note it always comes off quickly.

The good thing is my 32 skinny jeans and my new "slim fit" shirt fit better than two weeks ago even with the airplane bloat, so I'm feeling good today :)

I haven't flown since surgery.

I think I'd be too excited about fitting in the seat to worry about the 2 lbs, but I guess you get used to that when you travel a lot.

Something is up with me & my cycle.. last mo, it was the cycle that wouldn't end, and this month I was almost a week late. Super sodium laden day (over 2x my max limit) yesterday- I used canned tom kha soup in something, and ate quite a bit of said soup all day long.. so today between these conspiring factors I jumped up several pounds overnight.. 142.3.

Oh, and managed to have a bottomless pit day before everything started, so was filling myself on low-cal fiber stuff.. bran crisp bread, Quest bar, shirataki noodles.. cauliflower.. 109g carbs of which 61g was fiber. I look preggers today.

What do you use as your max sodium limit? I try to stay on the shy side of 2000. Missed it yesterday but generally do OK.

Same here max 2000, under is better the way I retain.. the canned tom kha was 1200mg a serving.. I prob ate 1.5 diluted with lower sodium chicken broth, but I ate quite a bit of it..) plus all the other salty stuff my body was craving. Silk almond milk has quite a bit of sodium, as do the mini babybels I nibbled on the bran crisps.. Oh, and the chicken sausage on the cauliflower pizza.. Yeah, just give me a salt lick, it'd be easier. I don't like to take diuretics, but lasix in this case was needed today.. Once this vacation is over, back to eating cleaner lower-sodium stuff. Carbs aren't my devil- salt is.
