So yeah, I was a little day/date displaced yesterday and thought (wished?) that it was Thursday. Seems like such a loooong week after the short holiday week. Tried to post the weigh several times this morning but OH was having none of it. Looked on the regular VSG forum and saw the newest post was about 15 hours old and figured it wasn't just me.
Today's weight 138.2
Finished all my shopping except for my daughter. I have my Amazon cart filled and ready to hit order but I'm determined to only use the debit card and not take any money out of savings so the actual order has to wait until tomorrow. Then I'm done, hooray!
As a general rule, I am more an "obtainer" than a shopper: go in the store, get specific planned thing(s), get out. Nowadays it's often online if I know exactly what I need. In fact other than my husband's table saw all of my Christmas shopping this year will be done in two shopping excursions on line.
Haven't wrapped a darn thing. Hate to wrap and generally leave it to one marathon session once I have everything on hand.
Highest weight: 335 lbs, BMI 50.9
Pre-op weight: 319 lbs, BMI 48.5
Current range: 140-144, BMI 21.3 - 22
175+ lbs lost, maintaining since February 2012
Yeah - OH was having a snit today. I tried posting about 6 times.
I am not a "Shopper" either, I prefer surgical strikes. I have learned to like shopping for clothes now, though! Like you I am paying cash for everything. I have a few gifts left to buy and am doing the Amazon thing as well. I really like the wish list functionality - DH and I used that to let remote friends and family know what we needed.

163.6 - another new low!
I haven't really done Christmas shopping for years and this year won't be much different. I have got a few small things to send off to family, I will get some clothing for my son that is living with us and my husband and I agreed to something small due putting so much $$s into the house in the past month.
I have got yoga today and then need to put in another 3 mile run after work before it get dark/cold.
173.7 Down another pound.
Love that the water weight is coming back off. I really do hate the fluctuations, but am getting used to them being my normal. I suppose as long as the slim fit jeans still fit and there is no muffin top I'm where I need to be.
I am also wondering if some of the extra weight I am "Fighting" is gained muscle. I work out resistance training 3 times per week and do cardio 5 days per week. I am pretty fit and have noticed more definition in my shoulders and pecs over the past two months. Is it possible to gain muscle on a limited amount of calories (about 2000 give or take per day?). My weight average over the past 3 months is up about 1.5 - 2.0 pounds, but my clothes are actually fitting a little loser than they did this summer.
103.4 today, think I'll go get some ice cream. Just kidding. :) I am glad that I am a little low before this weekend. We have parties on our schedule for both Saturday and Sunday and I can't wait for the work week to be over. We have two children, and Hanukah is just around the corner. We get them one big present each and that is all. My family doesn't really go for presents around the holiday time. We don't buy anything at all for the adults and just concentrate on spending time together and with family and friends. We make cards, we have a Hanukah party where the kids are allowed to invite all of their friends and their friends' families. We play Hanukah games, Alan plays guitar and everyone sings. The food is amazing, but I can't have any of it as it is all deep fried. It doesn't really bother me, as I play the hostess all night and keep really busy. We have a crazy tradition of filling a dreidel pinata with geld ( gold coins) and having the kids line up from youngest to oldest and whack it with a bat. When the coins drop, the kids play dreidel with each other. We usually have over 50 people at our Hanukah party and it just seems to grow every year.
