Well, I'll get this started today, since I am determined to check in here each day.

156, same as yesterday, and I'm not surprised.  I didn't eat any "junk" yesterday, but I did eat a lot, including some top-notch holiday desserts. Ho hum.

Good morning! Beat me by just a little - thanks for posting. Hang in there.

Today's weight 136.2

Saw a marvelous showing of "Jekyll & Hyde" at the Kennedy Center last night. It's a very different musical and very dark but the show really moves and draws you in. My husband does technical theatre (sets, light, sound) so I now find myself paying closer attention to such things and the way the set and lighting was done were amazing.

Had a small piece of pumpkin cheese cake in honor of the day but otherwise was good.

136.0 today.  Back in the zone.

I ate about one cup total of stuffing, mashed potatoes, pie, and that green bean casserole with the French's onions on top plus a slice of turkey.  It felt good to eat what everyone else ate but stop after only one small helping and I didn't have that stuffed feeling afterwards.  Life is good.

141.4, lower than yesterday.. I think that's a first for a post-holiday weight for me. I was good, had me some of everything,  and since I made all the sides I knew that they were mostly good stuff. Had some wine and spirits, and a little too much of the low-carb pumpkin cheesecake (ah-mazing, will make again) and woke up a little lighter. Not too shabby.

Mom has asked me to do the same for Christmas, so I have officially taken over as the holiday chef.

175 today, 172.6 yesterday.

I spent all day on my feet yesterday, so even though I did my 5 mile walk I still put on some swelling.  Had a good day eating wise yesterday, less fun with Family.  Had quite a bit of family drama that put a huge damper on the holiday.  Trying to get over it this morning.

DH has to work today and then we have the whole weekend together.

My weight is up this morning.  I am at 106.4 and am not happy about it.  Today is another Thanksgiving meal for me and I am making a decision to not sweat the weight gain for one more day.  The plan, already discussed with my husband, is to go to an all soup, chili week next week.  That means having my regular two egg breakfast in the morning and eating soup and chili for the rest of the day.  I usually lose weight pretty quickly when I do this.  I think three to four days out to get me back on track to where I want to be.  It doesn't feel like depravation or crash diet to me because I really like my soups and chili's.  It just seems like more controlled eating since there are almost no carbs in either the soup or the chili and the calories are so very low.  I want to get back to under 105 lb. by next Friday.
