Tall black boots!

Totally understand. I have the same weirdness about staying this size.. like somehow I will magically start to outgrow my current stuff without changing anything. I know it's not logical, but the fear is still very present in me, especially when I go away for a week and gain vacation weight so easily.. 

Vacation weight!  Man, it was so depressing - I can gain 5 pounds overnight once I start eating carbs - lose it again when I stop.  But scary.  I weighed 263.8 lb this morning, but saw 170 when I came back from NY about 10 days ago.

I can totally relate to the boot situation. I tried on so many pairs of boots, before I found a really nice pair that fit well. I spent a bit more for them, but they are good quality and very, very comfy. I am 59 years young and I wear them with skinny jeans and leggings. One is never too old for boots. I am now looking for a second pair, maybe in brown this time, or with a small heel.

We definitely get where you're coming from Happy!  I love love love my boots with my skinny jeans.  It makes me feel sassy and happy and proud to strut around in that getup.  Post pix sunshine!  I wanna see this!

Hey Happy, those boots are made for walkin' so you wear them until you wear them out!!!   Then get some more. I am 61 and wear sparkly behind jeans.

So get a pic of those boots and post them.

I don't much like wearing fancy boots but maybe I will go try some on and take a pic. Come to think of it, lets all do try on some ridiculously extravegant thing that we would never wear and take a pic. Fun.

Rock those boots! I hate those "fashion people" that put age limits on things...like no mini skirts over age 35 and all that nonsense...

Wear what makes you feel good, that is what I think...and also it never hurts to splurge on yourself once in awhile.....I have that fear of regain also, but I'm trying to enjoy every minute of my ''skinniness" ....it's hard because the "fat thoughts" are always there....and it's hard to enjoy the present when always worrying about the future.

I also bought 2 pairs of boots as soon as I realized that I no longer had fat calves that didn't fit in them....one pair is ridiculously high...pretty woman hooker high....these are my fave and I don't care if people judge me in them...I feel sexy and powerful in them.....luckily, these were very cheap because I already scuffed the heels up wearing them last winter so much........
