Daily Maintenance Weigh In - Friday 10/26
134.5 today.
Even the weatherman here in CA is talking about the possibility of a big Eastern storm. When I lived in NYC in the '80's, I went to work in a hurricane (didn't have a TV in those days) and only marveled at how uncrowded the roads were. It was fine in the end, some wind and rain but no damage. Hoping it will be the same this time.

Well looks like I will be working on running by myself for awhile and the 1/2 marathon in February may be iffy. Ends up that the DH has a stress fracture of his 2nd metatarsal and will be in a boot and off running/walking/yoga/biking, etc. for at least the next 3 weeks. Since I am already waaaay slower than him in running it may give me time to catch up I guess.
We are off to Houston tomorrow for a Jethro Tull Concert - can't believe we are driving 3 hours for a music concert then back the same night. I will probably enjoy the music but the travel - not so much!
I am posting late today. I finally finished the training course where they kept putting carb feasts out for us to eat so I have been stuck at 165.8 all week, including today. I don't understand how I was down to 163.7 for that one day, and then back up to 165.8 where I have stayed since.
I hope the storm you all are talking about won't be as bad as it sounds.

Good day today and it looks like my daughter will be coming home sometime this evening. She is more than ready but is still a little nervous.
Very cold in the am for us here in N TX. 38 degrees! BRRR!! The high is supposed to be about 60. I'm hoping it warms up a little before our 2 pm outdoor fall photo session. Looks like it will be just the grand babies and I but that's ok. We will do another shoot when mom is feeling up to it.
Positive thoughts and prayers to all in the path of hurricane Sandy!!
