Daily Maintenance Weigh In - Friday 10/26

The good news is that it's Friday. The bad news is that it appears weathergeddon is headed our way next week. Looking very frightening at this point, heavy rains and high winds predicted. I'm still hoping the storm turns out to sea, but it's looking less and less like that's going to happen.

Today's weight 139.8

I am planning a hike Saturday with the local hiking club. This is their last hike of the season, so I'm hoping hubs will be up to hiking with me again soon. He is healing nicely.

How about you? Any weekend plans? Anyone else in the line of Hurricane Sandy?

Just reading about that.. I hope it passes by as well. What part of the east are you in? My sisters live in CT & NJ.

Too many weekend plans to do them all, but we'll pick a few and have a good time- 141.3 today and I can finally get my fingers around my calves.

We're in the far Northern tip of Virginia. If you look at a map, Virginia makes a little point that goes up into the panhandle of West Virginia; we're in that point. We are supposed to get heavy rain, high winds and depending on elevation maybe some snow. We're right in a borderline area when it comes to rain vs. snow but the forecasts I've seen seem to be leaning toward rain. We'll see over the next few days.

Good luck mom. The cold is here and the snow just left us. Not too bad for us 2-3 inches.

Hunker down. Stay warm.

Good luck Mom!  125 today.  Yay!  Heading off to Tallahassee today for the weekend.  My daughter is an Oboe performance major at FSU and will have her Masters in December.  We are going out there to see her Masters Recital tomorrow afternoon.  Oh so very proud of my baby girl and can't wait to see her today!  Everybody have a great weekend.  I'll be back on OH next week.

183.4 - still moving in the right direction, less swelling every day on my walks.

I really hope the storm passes you! Sounds like all 3 systems are bad news on their own, much less the combination. Make sure you have plenty is supplies and ride it out. If you don't own a snow thrower, this might be the time to invest...

Weather folks are hyping this storm up to be some major event. I'm in Maryland and it'll be rain, nothing we haven't seen before. I'd love to get a day off work though but I doubt that will happen.

I hope all is well with the storm and it's over hyped.  Crossing my fingers for you Mom.

I am 104 even today.  This weekend is going to be crazy, I have major parties to go to today and Saturday.  Both times require costumes.  I can't wait.  This is going to be great fun.
