Freezing My A** Off

this "cold" phase will pass. I went through it and my husband is going through it now. some how you acclimate.

meanwhile, i used to keep a heating pad on my lap while at the computer and even put it over my hand on the mouse. get gloves with finger tips cut out for computer use.  I have a little microwaveable soft heat pack that i use on my wrist for arthritis but its good for warmth.

and we have a plastic disc called a "snuggle safe" that you get at a pet store. its to keep young puppies warm which is why we got it. you heat it and it stays warm for hours but not hot enough to burn. its a hard disk but its good to put in your bed before you get in.

meanwhile hang in there. the cold phase will pass.

Those packs you put into your ski gloves work like a charm.  They're lightweight and fit on top of your hands (cut the fingers off for the keyboard).  I can get 2 days worth out of those packs if I store them in a ziplock overnight.

Then I found as soon as I started exercising my furnace would kick in and I'd be a lot warmer thru the day.  I wasn't allowed coffee or tea, so I'd drink ho****er.  It's amazing what tastes good when you can't have anything else.  Good luck!
