I'll try a hat.

I've got my hands wrapped around warm tea right now.

Thanks!

It was so totally embarrassing, I was at a client site with coworkers a couple of months back and my teeth were chattering.  I never knew I could be so cold.  It was so bad that I could not give my presentation.

I work at home too - and its just me and Thomas so I set the thermostat at whatever I need.  If he needs to shed layers - well I don't mind, LOL.

When I travel for work now, I just layer, layer, layer.  I have found that if I keep my core warm everything else follows.

Yes...I feel like I'm only JUST BARELY starting to normalize at 5+ years out. And by that I mean, I'm only wearing a sweater and a fleece when my family is comfortable, rather than a down jacket, gloves and hat, lol! I have a space heater in my office, and I do use it when I get really cold. I recommend getting one--it's relatively efficient and you won't be miserable.

I want to put the space heater on my desk and aim it right at my hands.

I don't know how economical this is..... but at the time I didn't really care, I just needed to get warm !!!! So I could actually think !!!

At first I thought it could be some kind of Vitamin deficiency and started looking up what supplements would be advantages to take..... but my labs were good so I'm thinking it's one of those deals where your body has to catch up and adjust from running hot all those years from being insulated with fat. I'm thinking it takes a few seasons for the body thermostat to equalize and reset.

The last two winters I would take a "HOT" bath in the morning..... than I would leave the ho****er running at a trickle to maintain the water temperature. Throughout the day when I got super cold I would take "Warm Up Baths"...... Talk about Heaven !!!! Drinking a Hot coffee or Tea in a Hot bath when your that cold is the BEST !!!!

Maybe this winter will be different since I think I don't get as cold now days......But this method definitely works, and it works Faaaast and very effective. I'm good for a couple hours after a hot bath. (Don't ask if I've ever had my lunch during one of my warm up baths...... I will deny it!)

I suppose several Hot showers during the day may be a little more economical...... but not nearly as enjoyable as a bath. (I'm a bath over a shower person..... might be a Japanese thing)

I've always been cold. WLS made it worse for a while but now I'm back to normal coldness. Which is still freaking cold!

Can you program your thermostat to be higher during the day when you are home working? That way it won't bother the rest of your household and you will be comfortable.

Yeah, that's really what I should do. I tend to be a little frugle when it comes to the thermostat. But, working from home is definitely changing that.
