Good morning and happy weekend. Heading out on a hike with the hiking club today, so not as long as the ones hubs and I typically choose. Should be challenging though, from what I read about it.

Today's weight: 140.0

Dunno if it will stick or if it's just the normal 'upward bounce' I get every time I hit a new low, but I'm hopeful.

Highest weight: 335 lbs, BMI 50.9
Pre-op weight: 319 lbs, BMI 48.5
Current range: 140-144, BMI 21.3 - 22

175+ lbs lost, maintaining since February 2012

I'm having a very emotional day. My daughter who had a baby 2 weeks ago is suffering severe post-partum depression and had to be hospitalized last night.

I went to bed at 2 am and was up at 7. All I can do this morning is cry and I honestly hate to cry. Anyway, I'm flying solo with the 2 week old grandboy for the next couple of days.

The hardest part for me is I quit smoking (again!!) last Sunday. No patches or gum, just cold turkey. While mentally I want a cigarette, I honestly have no desire for one. Yes I have turned to food a few times this past week but it hasnt been to bad.

I'm taking it minute by minute at this point and am praying all is resolved soon!!

Up & out of my comfort zone- 146.8 from nearly a week of off plan eating, and drinking.. and PMSing to boot. Looking forward to getting this gone, getting my feet and fingers less swollen and losing what I gained on good chocolates and ribs this week. Don't regret it one bit, but I like being in the 130's better.

Good to see you made it back to 140 Mom.  Nana, I am sorry to hear that your daughter is in the hospital, but it is definitely where she needs to be.  It must be hard for you to be thinking of her there at the hospital while looking after the new little one at home.

164.4 today.

134.5 today.

Sorry to hear about your daughter, NanaD.  I hope she feels better soon.  When I quit smoking, I carried a carrot around, held like a cigarrette.  I just needed something in my hand.  Must have looked strange, but it worked.

The inexorable climb upward continues. Gonna take it easy today and see if I can get some of this to drain.

Nana so sorry to hear about your struggles, you and yours will be in my prayers.

Mom, have fun on your hike.

All of the others, we are going to do this together!
