Daily Maintenance Weigh In - Tuesday 10/16
Good morning!
My Kindle Paperwhite has shipped and will be here tomorrow, hooray! I had an original Kindle DX (that's the big one) but it finally died and we couldn't afford $400 to replace it so I've been reading on a cheapo tablet which is backlit and hard on the eyes. I'm so excited to get my new Kindle. I only read e-books for pleasure because I have some focusing problems and get eye strain so quickly on the print in most books. With an e-book, I can make everything a large print edition.

Going back to work tomorrow. Went to group for the first time since surgery last night. Trying to make every day more normal than the last.
I figure I am at about 60% of my preop endurance. I am healing really well. I will write up a longer post later this week.

Let me tell you, I could not be happier with that number! This last week has been absolutely insane (hence my absence from the board) with a lot of off plan eating.
Left this last Wednesday for Washington DC for my sister's wedding. It was an incredible weekend filled with family, friends, wine, and lots of food. I tried to make good choices where I could, but being a post Bariatric pescatarian, I can't always expect people to understand my crazy diet/needs. But the WLS gods deemed me worthy to bless, without any major gains for my sinful ways over the weekend. I solemnly swear to not test their limits and will be following my maintenance eating plan!
I'm going to try to do an individual post about all of it soon, maybe some pictures!

Oh, and I changed my goal weight to allow for a bit of bounceback.
Did something to my right leg/hip/knee/or ankle yesterday during workout, it's not super painful, just not right probably something to do with jumping - my body doesn't really like to be propelled into the air for squat jumps. Personal training today hopefully will be able to work it out.

134.5 today. I knew I'd go down eating away from home over the weekend.
I finally had to cave and buy readers since I couldn't read the normal-sized print in books anymore. Some magazines have print so small the readers don't even help enough, and that's when I pull out the Kindle and size the letters way up.
