Just a curiosity poll/questions for the ladies..
54 years old
143 lbs and still inching down.
Exercise - 5 days a week, 2 with trainer doing weight/strength with light cardio (treadmill or bicycle) at the end; one day of the same on my own; and 2 days of serious cardio. I just hit the one year anniversary at the gym and feel like I should receive a Lifetime Achievement Award. It's the first time I've had a gym membership and actually USED it!
Calories - minimum of 1400 and I eat back most of my exercise calories. So the range is between 1400-2000.
Protein/Carbs - I'm a carnivore. The protein part of the diet has been really easy for me. I get around 130g a day without trying. Carbs - around 100g a day. I find I do better avoiding wheat, but I eat lots of dairy and veggies.
Goal range - wherever my body finally stops or when I start looking bad, whichever happens first!
I exercise (usually walking) 5-7 times a week. 1- 3 miles. I vary it daily. Tonight I went to the fitness center since it's cold and raining and did treadmill, eliptical and some of the weight equipment.
I told myself I would not let myself go more than 3 pounds up, but obviously, I did. That said, I'm 5 pounds below goal, so I think that my feeble brain allows more than it should. I need to have a good talking to my brain and make my goal lower so I don't allow myself the extra.

I'm 5' 6 as well and I am dying trying to get my scale to hit the 150 mark. My weight stopped right at 155 which is great since I am wearing size 6's and occasionally a size 4. I have never been this small in my life so I am happy for that.
I typically get about 1400-1600 calories daily. Its hard to say sometimes because I have gotten lazy in my food tracking. On a good note, my job keeps me rather active burning around 1800 calories a day (according to my fitbit) that is without the benefit of a gym or hitting the weights. If my schedule allowed I would be at the gym with the weights 3 times a week minimum and working on cardio everyday if possible. I sincerely want to run a 5K or participate in a 5K mud run. Several of my friends have told me they are awesome and for once I am ready to join instead of sitting in the cheering section.
I do drink a bit of wine or have a vanilla vodka and red orange juice occasionally. I have noticed my problem tends to be more snacking without realizing what I am stuffing in my face. I am trying to be more cognizant about that with the holidays approaching. I do wish the surgery would have taken away my sweet tooth.
Good luck in your quest for knowledge and better lifestyles,
