Daily Maintenance Weigh In - Wednesday 10/3

And we are now entering the whiplash phase of our seasonal change. Suddenly 80's again today after having been chilly for about a week.

Today's weight 139.4

Because I've kept losing, I've been hesitant to invest in any nice clothes, but I need a few things for a conference next week and am actually going to go to a department store and get myself something nice. Also need shoes, which are harder for me though not as hard as they used to be: I can now wear a woman's 11 in a normal width in most shoes, used to be a 12 wide.

Speaking of next week's conference, I need someone to post the weigh in next Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. If you someone volunteer for one day or all three, please do. If not, first person in will have to post.

Rob should be in surgery now, I think. Sending healing thoughts for a smooth surgery and quick recovery!

Highest weight: 335 lbs, BMI 50.9
Pre-op weight: 319 lbs, BMI 48.5
Current range: 140-144, BMI 21.3 - 22

175+ lbs lost, maintaining since February 2012

136.0 today. Twenty degrees cooler today after 3 days of heat!

I'd offer to start the thread next week but as I live in Pacific time zone the Eastern folks are usually up before me...

142.4

I am also headed in for my revisions today, feel as nervous as a ***** in church for some reason! I just want this part to be over and healed before my 80yr old inlaws come to live with me (Nov 11)

Sending out healing wishes to Rob, this first day is going to be hell!

Do you have a smartphone? I intend to keep journaling pretty much indefinitely, but it's a decision made easier by my myfitnesspal smartphone ap which makes it a 5-minute a day task.

No, I'm unfortunately not smart enough for a smartphone.  I have looked at my daughters, and my nephews, but they look very complicated, and so far I am not brave enough.  May get to that point, but as of right now, I journal from my computer using myfitness pal.  It works very well for me, and gets me on track very quickly, but as you say, more difficult than with the app.

I just bought the new iphone5 and I am completely sold on it. The phone and applications are very intuitive and I have learned ALOT in the past couple of weeks. The phone companies and Apple offer classes on how to work the phones, but I have picked up things on my own and from other people. It is AMAZING!! You CAN do it.

 133 pounds.

All good.

Working too much this week.  Hard to get to the fun stuff when pesky work gets in the way.
