That sounds way better.  I think you might have cracked the code.  I knew you could.

169.9

A few things keep me on track really: weighing everything I prepare and tracking it; weighing myself every morning; always packing my lunch and snacks the night before. Those are the big things that keep me on the straight and narrow.

109.8 lbs

My motto is: "Fail to plan, is a plan to fail."

I cook food for the week on Sunday, and put the food in smaller containers, so that I can grab the pre-measured and weighed portions in the morning. This way, I only have to think about it, one day/week and always have a ready supply of food ready to go. It saves time in the evening and morning. I have always taken my lunch to work, so this was a no brainer. Cooking up food on the weekend is a real time saver and helps me to stick to my food plan.

I track my food daily, including weighing and measuring. It isn't for everyone, but it keeps me accountable and mindful.

I also weigh myself daily and take my weekly weight on Sunday and average it for the week.

So, planning is numero uno.

125.  I've been playing with this for weeks now.  It will go up but not down.

It's definitely planning but I'm still in the losing phase.

I'm pretty regimented and if i feel myself getting frustrated, i plan something for weeks in advance.

What i miss most are ****tails and it started to bother me big time.  /I thought I'd be without them for six months and here i am almost 14 months out and still not there.

So i planned to host a wine tasting for 2 weeks in advance.  Which pleased me.

Then i discovered this morning that we have people coming into town we haven't seen for a while and we have social and business obligations.  It will be fun and i do not want to start feeling that this is punitive so i will have a couple of glasses of wine here and there.  The food thing has been really easy.  Eating a couple of ounces of cheese with my wine is my idea of heaven.

I guess for me going forward it will be finding balance.  I cannot give up things that contribute to my lifestyle.

A glass of wine a couple of times a week is probably the only thing i miss. Once i have that again, the rest is just the way i live now.

I plan my food every day and cook it every weekend so that i never reach for something forbidden.  I keep a quest bar in my purse, for when i may get caught out.  If I'm going out to dinner, I'm not worried bout eating something bad, i rarely do, but I'm aware the chef is no****ching how much olive oil or cheese he's putting in, so on those days, i have Greek Yogurt x2 during the day an that takes any anxiety away.

167.6 today!

For me, the most important thing is tracking what I eat on My Fitness Pal.  If I didn't track everything, I could very easily go over my calorie allowance and think I was doing okay.

151.5, low end of my range.

My most important thing is weighing in EVERY.SINGLE.DAY, it helps me work out how I should proceed for the day.
