Yep- they are long johns.. but the silk is insulating even in the super-thin layer which makes it easy to wear under normal clothes, and wicking.. so no cool chill if you are sweating a bit when hiking. They are cut pretty well, so womens med = unisex small, and womens small= uni Xsm.

Been MIA for the last week or so, which I apologize for. Life has been absolutely crazy! My semester has been kicking my ass and work was a ****show this week (we launched a new product on Friday so this last week was filled with training and getting ready for it).

I'm up a little from where I generally like to be, but still within range. And it is completely due to my own lack of diligence during the hectic week I had. But, it's a new week, new day, and it will be filled with clean eating and getting back to where I prefer my weight to be. Keeping myself in check!

I've missed you all and promise I'll try harder this week to be present! XOXO

Thanks Mom and InGirl for the link and all of the info. I'm definitely going to order some - even though I am in California, I am still cold all the time!

Check out Sierra Trading Post for discounted long underwear. I have bought silk underwear from them for years. I use them as layering pieces, when I ski, raft, camp, hike, or just when it is plain cold. Their prices are discounted.

Happy to be in the zone. Stressful day car/van shopping yesterday. Little sleep last night. When I'm tired is when I make poor choices, so I must be on watch today!

New to this group - been "in maintenance" for the past 6 months or so but not quite to goal yet.  Made it to the 160's this morning!  That means I have lost 7 lbs since increasing my exercise beginning in June with 5x per week workouts. Today's workout: 30 min strength/endurance group workout.

Today's weight: 169.4

spent yesterday as a hostage of the garage door. it broke sat night and both our cars were inside and we couldn't open it manually so were home all day. good thing it was sunday. the garage man is on the way to liberate us. good thing because guests are on the way.

Hey Diane, I haven't checked in here for a while, so I might be a bit out of date, but what's with the extra few pounds?  Are you doing anything different?  Grazing, drinking, anything else?  I mean you can handle going up a few pounds, no problem, but I just want to know what is causing it.  Are you on any new medication?  Could it be water weight?  I am just brainstorming here.  If all else fails, yeah, it might be time for "The Soup".  :)  I am here for you if you need/want to talk.  ( Oh and by the way, I totally know you have this, I am just being supportive).
