Hernia repair with panniculectomy this weds.

Saw the surgeon on Monday, they called yesterday and they fast tracked the surgery because the hernia is getting worse and worse. So I went for the pre op today and surgery is next weds.    I'm kinda freaking out. I wasn't scared at all for the sleeve surgery in Mexico, but this one at home in Canada is freaking  me out.  I'm afraid of the pain, the recovery period and the results. How the panniculectomy is going to look without the muscle tightening of a tummy tuck.    Anyone have the panniculectomy without muscle tightening that could share their story?  

 Hi, hope everything goes well with the surgery.  I don't know what the panniculectomy is.  I've had two hernia surgeries, one below my belly button about ten years ago and the other from where the surgeon removed the lap and port.  I had a revision to a sleeve.

 I had the lower body lift with muscle tightening so I have no advice except to follow your surgeons orders. Get in tons of protein for healing. Rest and stay hydrated.  Be gentle with yourself. It's major surgery.  Let us know how you're doing.  

 Thanks. Definitely more nervous about this surgery then the sleeve which is kind of weird.  But this too will be but a memory in a couple months. :)
