in a panic about plastics, esp TT -- those who've done it -- help!

I whole heartedly agree with everyone else's advice, especially the little booklet that Lee typed out!

I just want to add, that even though the first few days suck, I am now at 4 weeks out and when I look at myself in the mirror, I am stunned by how awesome my new abdomen is! My waist measured 25.5 today!!! That is 5 inches down from surgery date! Amazing and SO SO WORTH IT! You are lucky to have a supportive person to take care of you those first days, I was alone in a hotel. Good luck sweetie.

Ann, I have nothing to add (but well wishes!!) but I have to say reading everyone's responses makes me feel a tiny bit more at ease considering this for myself someday when the time comes- for that- thanks to everyone that chimed in!

 oh wow!  you guys are the greatest!!!!  i was geting advice from a co-worker who had a c-section and she helped a lot too.  going to doc tomorrow so making a list today.

i can't tell you all how much i appreciate all this info!  it makes me a little less freaked.  i'm kind of scractching my head about the way i did so much researach about the vsg and i'm only just starting to so it for this!
