Daily Maintenance Weigh In - Friday 9/14

Woohoo!! Made it through another week. Hubs and daughter have been sick most of the week - hope I'm not next.

Today's weight: 140.2

Half a day at work today. Planning a couple of hikes this weekend (gee Mom, who could have seen THAT coming) as the weather is supposed to be gorgeous. I've discovered several vegan whole food bars with at least 10 grams of protein that I can take along on hikes to get some calories/energy in as I go. So I am now officially completely off dairy and eggs.

I have upped my carbs to 200/day. I know this seems high but I was at 150 and still losing. I'm hoping that upping my carbs a little will help me stop things; also since I'm eating strict vegetarian it's easier to get my protein in with a little higher carb target. I'm still at minimum 100 grams of protein a day. Still drinking a couple of shakes a day, just vegan protein powder.

One thing I've discovered about a strict (no dairy/eggs) veggie diet is that if you stay away from junk you end up with VERY high fiber. Yesterday I was over 50 grams of fiber! So far my body seems to be loving this, though.

And your weekend plans are....?

Highest weight: 335 lbs, BMI 50.9
Pre-op weight: 319 lbs, BMI 48.5
Current range: 140-144, BMI 21.3 - 22

175+ lbs lost, maintaining since February 2012

Morning mom, just homework this weekend. The soon to be ex is coming into town to get the rest of her things Sunday and will leave Tue. Makes me sad to say ex but, call it what it is. We will sign the papers while she is down. So weird still after 10 years, very anti-climatic. I guess its better then some alternatives with us hating each other. I miss hanging out with my best friend everyday.

142.1, up 2.6 over yesterday? I hate water weight gains.. it totally throws off my number crunching! BF% went from 25.xx to 29.xx on the scale. I'm thinking I'm going to start taking my numbers for 10 day runs then throwing out the high & low number, then averaging the remainder..

OK, stress=OCD comes out.
That's just me.

Mom, I'll look later- but I have a snacky bar that I think may fit your diet? If so, it's darn tasty. but I need to check to see first..

The daily variations can be frustrating, so I take what my weekly weight is on Sunday. I also started average my weight for the week.

I would love to have Bod Pod done, but I have had some problem having people call me back, or when I drove for an hour, the person didn't show up to do the test.

186.8

I have to go shopping for a recliner for my LBL and arrange for that and get another case of chicken breasts from Restaurant Depot.  Other than that will probably go for a hike and some long walks.

Figured out yesterday that I had a strain in one of my hip flexor muscles - so trying to take care of that.  No running - Boo.

Word of advice on the recliner - get an electric one. You can position them EXACTLY for the comfort you need at any moment. A bit pricier, but so worth it. Macy's has one in a really nice leather that is pretty nice looking (doesn't look too much like a recliner). Anyhow, I'd just make sure the one you choose is electric.
