Those people remind me of slinkys. Not good for much but it would would bring a smile to my face if someone pushed them down the stairs.

I don't know you, but you sound like my kind of lady! And I love hearing from someone ALMOST as old as me. I am 62, soon to be 63 and 9 1/2 months out, probably about 15 pounds from goal (not really sure what goal is). It is so nice to hear that you are living and loving your life. What fun you are going to have!

Congratulations on almost reaching your goal!  I just can't believe how much different my life is since I lost the weight.  My kids are kind of dumb struck about it, but they are loving it too!  Nice to "meet"you, Judy!

Hey Wanda!  Welcome back!  I've been wondering about you and glad to hear you are happy and well.  Good luck with the Zip Line YIKES!  I'm also afraid of heights and let some friends talk me into the BIG swing where they hoist you up and drop you - OMG!  I was scared to death but it was SO fun!  I would totally do it again.  Have fun in Hawaii and come visit us more often...

You must permanently change your lifestyle if you want your weight loss to be permanent. You can do it!

Hey Deb.  I'll try to check in more often now.  I don't like heights either, but ZIP lining sounds and looks like such fun.  I'll probbly be terrified, but I'm determined to do it.  The girls won't let me chicken out.  There are 7 different levels and we start with the bunny zip moving up to one that is over 800 ft. long.  OMG it scares me to even think about it. lol

Welcome back!  Glad to hear you are continuing to do well and loving life!

I am afraid of heights, too, but I LOVED zip lining!!  They buckle you in really securely and it really is an amazing experience!

I'm about 2.5 years out, too, holding pretty steady about 5 pounds up from my lowest weight.  I'd like to  take 'em off but I'm still a size 2/4 so life is pretty darned good!

I'm 5'2" and 55 years old.  VSG 3/17/10

Glad to hear you are doing well.  I'm up about 5 lb from my lowest too, but it seems to be where my body wants to be and I'm comfortable with my eating habits.  I think I would have a hard time fighting that 5 lb to stay at my lowest, so I'm happy where I'm at.

Glad to hear you loved zip lining.  I'm sure I will too.  Growing up I HATED roller coasters.  Couldn't get me on one after 1 terrifying experience (nothing went wrong, I was just scared).  But when we took the kids and grands to Disney World in December '10, I went on all of them and loved every one of them.  So I'm sure I'll love the zipping too.
