Daily Maintenance Weigh In - Wednesday 9/5

Good morning all. Cool and rainy here, a good morning for sleeping in. So I did. Whoops. Made it to work on time, but I hate that stressed rush-rush-rush feeling when I'm not quite awake.

Signed up to do a "Walk from Obesity" 5k walk this weekend. Ordered a size small T-shirt. Still question myself when I do that. I'm a small to medium in misses sizes, but always a small in unisex stuff,. Deep inside me though is that person who was never quite sure the 3x would be big enough.

130.5 this morning

This week and last have been pretty rough. I'm still sick with what I'm now referring to as "the plague". So much for my immune system "taking care of it". Still mad about that... Stupid nurse...

Anyway, I'm working 30 hours this week on top of my overly full school schedule. So I'm feeling overwhelmed, to say the least! Hoping that I can get through it all without having a mental breakdown!

Hope everyone else is doing well!

Water weight is funny!  Up 2.4, Down .8

My Fitbit is having synching problems - Its bizarre.  It hasn't synched in a day now.

Good luck with the Walk from Obesity!

I've seen several people mention that now. Sounds like it's not your fitbit, maybe, it's their system?

Their website has been poorly maintained for a couple of months now - features broken and not fixed, slow updates, etc.  I have been thinking of switching either to the Striiv or the Wahoo trackers.  Something that integrates with my iPhone and MFP.

Doing well and feeling good. Exercise makes such a huge difference in my mood.

Have fun on your walk!!! Yeah, for size small.

Know what you mean about whether or not, a size small will fit. Some days, I hold up my jeans and wonder, how in the world, am I ever going to get them on. The fat girl still lives inside.

Oh how I relate to the ' never quite sure that the 3x was big enough' and to the ' fat girl lives inside'.

When I went up to the 10 pounds above goal from the 3 pounds above goal, I felt that had gained ALL the weight back. AND in one week.

Am now again three pounds from goal and back on track with the food.  Not the water. Still struggling to get it in.

All the best with the walk.

Here's what works for me with the water (I use sugar-free drink mixes in mine). I have a 16 oz cup. I schedule my drinking to get at minimum:

16 oz between bedtime and breakfast
16 oz between breakfast and lunch
16 oz between lunch and my snack
16 oz between snack and dinner
16 px between dinner and bed

I found it was easier to focus on getting 16 oz in during a specific time period than focusing on a total number of ounces in a day. Typically now, with my shakes, I get over 100 oz every day but I still use the same plan to be sure I get my minimum.
