I am nearing 5 years out and never got to goal.. I did lose a nice amount of weight, over 130 pounds and have put back on 15 pounds now...

yes it is MY fault, i know that..  My mother has been ill and I have been very stressed over that and other problems around me that i cannot fix, but with no excuses i have not been eating right..

SO, here i am 15 pounds up and tired of feeling crappy from too many simple carbs.. yes they taste good but then i suffer the consequence..

I am on day 1 of the pouch test because i could tell i could eat more now also..  Not crazy amounts but just more than normal..

The biggest thing i can say is I have not taken the time to take care of myself.  I havent been posting anywhere to be accountable, i have still been exercising but not nearly enough, and i havent been eating right.

no excuses, its done, but it stops now..

thanks for listening..

*just updated my ticker below.. YIKES..

well if you read through posts on this group you will find lots that are like yours.  time to start caring for yourself.  journal your food if you have stopped. get those slider carbs out of the house if you can and get other healthier foods to substitute. i am really into this mini cucumbers and also these mini sweet peppers and they are high fiber.  make one meal a day protein drink. just a couple of new habits will help. check in here often.   diaen

I am right there with you. I'm four years out and have gained 10. I'm going to start with the shakes and journaling, too.

Hello all,

I have a question about the protein shakes.
I have not had them in a year or more.
What is the reasons you have one a day?

I have started the correct eating plan and would like to know if this is something I should also do. I have 34 lbs to lose.

Thanks for any info on this.

Hi Barbara. I am not typically a morning eater at all so if I need to get the protein in the shake is the obvious choice for me. Also it is a way to keep me watching carbs and slider foods if I do it. I am doing the 5 day pouch test now to help get things going again.

Can you tell me how is it done and why there is the pouch test?
