Good morning.
126.8 this morning so my BMI is back down to 21.8. I'd still like to lower it a bit...but I got rid of those 7 pounds that crept up on me.
It's scary when our parents get older and seem to slip a little mentally. I see that in my Dad. My parents are 92 and 88, so I cringe these days when I hear the phone ring.
Hope everyone has a great day.

136.0 this morning, so u******ce yesterday--I hope it sticks, my BMI is 20.8 and I don't want it any lower.
So sorry to hear about your mom. My mom had to go to an Alzheimer's unit in a nursing home last year. She is 88 and doing okay physically, but it is so sad that she is not the person she once was. We talk a lot about people from 60 years ago as she can't remember recent events too clearly.

121.5. my desktop had some sort of seizure and may be DOA. Have to wait for shrinking nerd to fix it if possible so i am on the laptop for now.
sorry about your mom. mine is 86 and has significant dementia associated with Parkinsens disease. So ironic because she was a neuroscientist. But is safe and lives well and is reasonably content. But she loves my weight loss and told me my body was perfect! she who used to get after me for eating as a child. one thing about people with dementia is that they say what they think. diane

133.2 (range 135-139)
I'm sure tomorrow will be a different story. Lunch out today, which I rarily do. Meatloaf, mashed potatoes & fried cabbage. It sounded good at the time and well I am below my range so I decided to slurge. I honestly think this is the first time I have over ate post-op. I was beyond miserable. I dont know what I was thinking, I just kept eating. Another lesson learned.
Mom, I can relate to the older parent thing. My dad is 87 and is just now starting to show some signs of dementia. It is really hard to watch him decline. He lives alone in a SR apartment community and hates it. I have about 2 months to make the decision of either moving him in with me or assisted living. Not sure what we are going to do yet so we will see.
