Really three pounds
Ok here I go again I'm almost four years out and three pounds up that same stupid three pounds it use to be up down up down now it is just staying up at least it isn't going up anyone than that but I'm worried it will. I tell myself not bad three pounds in four years but I don't want the pattern to continue. Today the weather is a little cooler so I decided to put on my jeans and wtf three pounds feels like ten they fit but they use to loose now they are snug can three pounds really do that. Maybe it's cuz they just came from the dryer. Oh well here I go again going to start a small excercise regimen every morning and cut the carbs for awhile this is a never ending battle that I am determined to win damnit thanks ya all
Elina, you zoomed in on the same statement I did when I read her post. It IS a never ending battle. That's just the way it is...there is nothing that we can do to change this. If we want our weight loss to be permanent, our lifestyle changes must be permanent. That's just the simple truth of it. I have also come to accept that this is reality for me and I want to stay happy and healthy much more than I want to put that xxx (fill in whatever is calling to me) in my mouth. Sorry about the dang 3 pounds Maureen. You know what to do...{{{Hugs}}}

You must permanently change your lifestyle if you want your weight loss to be permanent. You can do it!
Dinner out equals two pounds for me. Small portions but it may include a dessert. My sleeve doesn't hold much but add dessert and a few ounces of wine and I have work to do. That's a dinner after a one hour Pilates reformer class and a one hour hike.
So yes, I get the statement that this s never ending. But two pounds, really?
Off to hike 5.5 miles as my bowing to the maintenance Goddess.

The scale can be misleading though. If your clothes are not fitting as well, you've gotten bigger. I got bigger these past few months and the scale is EXACTLY the same. But I've lost muscle and gained fat so I take up more room in space.
