I "ran" today!

Congrats and rock it out! I did a c25k program called "get running" (It's the one I liked best).

I'm currently rerunning the program at a faster pace to work on my time. When I'm done with that, I plan on starting a training schedule for a 10k and then eventually a training schedule for a 10 mile race that I want to do in April/May. The 10 mile race however is not just running, it's the Tough Mudder! I've obviously lost my mind if I'm even considering it, lol.

Be careful though, running is addicting... I can't explain it, it just happens!

Running is awesome and I am totally in love with it. It makes me feel strong, fast and confident. (even though I'm not very fast)

That is terrific!  I've always wanted to be a runner, who knows, maybe someday?

As much pain as it causes and how much I sometimes really want to quit - runner's high is not a myth!!!  I dont think there is anything that matches the feeling of finishing a run and especially training for an event!  Way to go!

I am right there with you on this one.  I am so happy for you, I hope you have continued to "run" since you posted this.  We can compare notes at the next support group meeting.

Lizanne, you are amazing.  My daughter just brought in the DVD.  I can't wait to watch it!  Thank you so much for being an incredible woman and a good friend.  It looks fantastic!  I will let you know if my dance technique improves.  :)
