I am so sorry to hear about your cat.  I love my dogs and have a strong relationship with each one, I can understand how a loss like that can be really devastating.  Hugs to you.

It's a huge kindness we can give them at the end of a loving life, but it doesn't make it one bit easier for us.

I am so sorry you lost your little family member.  Me and Thomas have three.  They sleep with us at night and snuggle up to us and try to take care of us when we don't feel well.  I know how I'd feel if we lost any of them.  

I am sure she knew how much you loved her and felt the same towards you.

Aw, sorry about your cat, Birdie!  I can certainly relate as we put our 20 year old cat down at the end of April.

122 again. hope this extra pound is not permanant.  went to old lady exercise again yesterday. i think its something i am gonna be able to keep doing. i get so bored with exercise.

Yesterday was hard, as every August 14th always is. It was the 8th anniversary of one of my best friends from childhood passing away, along with his two younger brothers (car accident). And to think its been 8 years doesn't seem real, I feel like it was just days ago. When I think about it, it still feels like my heart is in a million tiny pieces. But a big group of us that were friends with the boys got together and celebrated their lives.

Good to see old familiar faces. Some others, not so much. Like being hit on by guys I was friends with for years but now see me and exclaim, "Damn Leah, you're lookin' hot! When are you going out with me?!"

Um, never. I mean, really?! They could have at least tried the, "I always thought you were pretty" line!
