That is so cool! Thanks for sharing on your 5th surgiversary! Congrats!!!!

I also agree with you 100% on creating those good habits in the first 6-12 months. I'd be in dire straits right now if I hadn't.

really great post!  and wow!  pix were great.  gorgeous (loved the hat!).  and your daughter sounds just as wnderful as she is beautiful!

i appreciate the long-term view.  i'm just outside the honeymoon period (i think) and i know it's going to be real-world slogging from here on out.  and i'm scared b/c i wasn't as good as i should have been about changing all my crappy habits when i was just dropping weight.  shame spiral!

feel inspired!  thank you and happy sugiversary!!!

Thanks! It's never too late...fortunately, our capacity when we eat right stays small and that is a huge boost wherever we are in the journey!

Lizanne, you have been one of my idols all along, as you are about one year farther out than I am. Thanks for your post ... and for all of them through the years.  And heartiest congratulations on your huge milestone!!

Thanks for sharing.  I am a recent graduate to maintenance and, like others, am fining that this transition is harder than weight loss, especially in times of stress.  It's terrific to know that you are not alone and the path is well trod in front of you.
