Hi all,
I am almost 2 years out.  I got to 160 and actually gained back to 185.  I am 180 now and I definitely want to take that extra weight off and actually my goal is 150.  So I am not really at maintence but I definitely have a hard time at the newbies forum.  I was hoping I could hang around here.  I think the biggest reason I gained is I wasn't plugged in here with this great support system and I just got lost and overwhelmed at that time and reverted to food.  I am definitely committed to being healthy for the rest of my life and I am ready to figure out how to actually maintain this once I get there.  I have already been so encourage and learned so much just by reading your posts.
Love you guys and appreciate the support.

You are well past the point of hanging on the main board for sure! I check in there when I'm in a good mood and try to answer a couple questions, but this is the place to go when you realize you've moved past the beginning stages. Congrats on getting back on track!

welcome to the vsg maintenance group. you are in the right place as we are about people further along in the journey and many are dealing with a little regain or those last 20 lbs. take the time to look through older posts as there is a lot of valuable information there.

check in daily and report on the weigh in if you like. it helps me start the day by thinking about how i am going to maintain my weight loss each day and what i need to do or not do. I also still food journal two years into maintenance to keep in the game. really helps me keep at it and i may do it forever.

Thanks Diane,
I actually stopped journaling and checking in on OH when I started regaining.   I gained about 5 at Christmas and figured as the weather out nice but instead the scale kept climbing.  I could tell my clothes were tighter but when I weighed in and saw 185 I was overwhelmed and shocked.  I know what to do and I am good at it when I stick to it, so I am so glad to be back.  I feel better already.  I really appreciate the support.
