Daily Maintenance Weigh In - Monday 8/13
Odd lesson yesterday. My road trip was to drive my Mom halfway home, meet my Sister to hand Mom off, then drive home. About 400 miles each way. I did fine on the trip down when Mom was in the car with me, but was just incredibly nibbly on the return trip. Sheer boredom eating - the time was moving soooooo slowly, no-one to talk to, nothing to do but drive and drive. I didn't do too bad calorie wise, but it was the worst I've been with the nibbling urges since surgery.
Boredom has always been a trigger for me. Just something for me to continue to work on.
Today's weight: 143.0

Pre-op weight: 319 lbs, BMI 48.5

175+ lbs lost, maintaining since February 2012
I know how you feel. I haven't done a road trip since my weightloss journey began, but I was always a salty snack nibbler in the car - a bag of chips, nuts, something. Id probably consume more calories on the trip than the car burned! Good job on not breaking your calorie limits!

My worst nibbling time is when watching tv. I have no trouble staying on trac****il I put the tv on. And it is instant, that desire to eat something. Remember those commercials about people learning to do things without smoking, like get dressed in the morning. They were really funny. I am like that with watching tv.
183.0 today. My scale keeps going up and down but it is on a downward trend.
