What an eye opener!
Good for you for working out so much but I would definitely incorporate more weight lifting. Lifting weights actually revs up your metabolism for a longer period of time then do aerobic type exercises. Lifting also makes you look better as your skin has something nice to drape over. I would encourage you to lift about 3 days a week, but no more as you can burn out and are more susceptable to injurys.
That's hard to believe that is accurate...you definitely don't look 35% body fat in your avatar pic...
I haven't done the bod pod, but my trainer has used high quality skin calipers, and my body fat% was 32% body fat....the thing is, I'm very lean, so I'm not sure how accurate it is, with massive WL patients...maybe it's off due my loose skin w/ the calipers....I would have thought bod pod or hydrostatic would be very accurate, but now hearing your results, I am surprised...
I wonder if any studies have been done, with WLS patients, exercise, and body fat %....because no matter how hard I work, my body fat% isn't getting down to the lower #s, I would think I could obtain....I thought by now, I could get down to 25 or 28%....
And yes, weight training is essential, but I do a lot of it and even have visible muscles now....maybe my diet isn't clean enough still though....I'll try that....

From the little that I have read about caliper measurements, they are very accurate, IF the person is highly skilled in the using the technique. I'm not sure that they are very accurate with WLS folks, due to loose skin issue. I think that I would try to do a hydrostatic weighing or BOD POD test. From your pictures, it doesn't look like that you are 32% body fat.
Also, from what I have read, a clean diet is necessary for getting body fat down. I'm still working on this.
