VSG Maintenance Group
Officially part of the Maintenance Group!
Made my goal weight today. Yay me!
Put up a post on the main VSG forum with some serious photo whoring. Here's the link:

I'm looking forward to putting in my stats on tomorrow's weigh in post.
Going through some weird emotions. Still trying to make sense of it all. So for now, I've decided to just keep doing what I'm doing and wait a week or so before I add calories to my day.
I adjusted my calorie goal on Livestrong today to "maintain current weight". Yikes! Livestrong posted 2238 calories daily to maintain my current weight. When pigs fly!

Congrats on being an official member of the maintenance group. of course you have been a member for some time as you only have to "think" about maintenance to quality.
Yeah, it can be hard to wrap your mind around maintenance as its forever and not just some period of time. It helps to set maintenance goals and to keep food journaling for quite awhile. And you will just have to experiment with calories to get to the right level. Just don't eat junk.
And all the pictures you posted look great! You are definitely at the right weight. So now post some picx of those airedales!
Again, congrats on goal. Diane

Welcome to maintenance!! I posted a more lengthy response on the VSG board, but I have to say once again, you look absolutely wonderful. Hitting goal can be a bit surreal and anti-climatic, but you just keep on practicing the same behaviors that helped you to lose the weight, with just a few more calories. You'll have to work on setting more goals, which will help to keep the motivation going and will help you to keep your head in the game.
Congratulations, once again.
Gail
Congratulations, once again.

Congratulations, again! You've done such a great job. Setting aside the smokin' hot bod (nothing like being objectified, lol), you have transformed in a lot of ways and haveevery reason to be proud.
It takes a little while to wrap your head around maintenance. I'm still getting into a comfort zone, myself, and it's been 6 months. You have exactly the right mindset, drive, and determination to succeed, and you'll do great.

congratulations, and may I say that "goal jeans" photo is very nice
11 months is not nearly enough to adjust mentally, so just expect it to take more time and more "weird emotions"
meanwhile, enjoy!

once upon a time I had a group to talk about Binge Eating Disorder, and later one about Clean Eating.
PM me if you are interested in either of these.
