X-post: And I still walk sideways through turnstiles

I do it too Mom.  I especially notice the parking the car thing...always wondering if there is enough room to get in and out.  I drive an expedition which is a flipping bus and takes up the entire width of a parking space.  I do enjoy that it is always a pleasant surprise when I can open the door and get out without worrying about denting the next car.  I try to take joy in that, but I am ready to not mentally measure everything too.  Right there with ya Sunshine!

You must permanently change your lifestyle if you want your weight loss to be permanent. You can do it!

Right there with all of you!  The car thing was really important to me.  I had a compact car but needed a full space because I was afraid someone would park too close to the line and I'd be sitting there all day waiting for them to come out so I could get into the car.  New cars make it too difficult to get in on the passenger side and climb over the console.  I could never do that without causing serious injury to myself!
