119.5 today. Haven't seen that low in awhile. Must have been all the gardening I did yesterday.

I too have been thinking about yesterday's drama on the main vsg forum which has now disappeared but left its echo. I didn't make a comprehensive response to the original post.

The original post was a major amount of venting. We all vent from time to time. But I am hoping that in this group we can all feel comfortable with expressing anything we wish without being unneccarily negative to other posters. Constructive criticizm is totally ok but insults are not necessary.  So lets all remember that in written communication one must be especially careful about tone, exageration, sarcasm and so forth because it can be misinterpreted.

We have a good thing going here in this group and we are approaching 900 members. Lets keep it the type of group where we continue to help each other.

Diane, I agree with this, but it would have been more appropriate for the OP to have kept the issue on this board, instead of posting on the main VSG board. Her issues with the vets could have been handled or vented on this board. By taking it out of this group, she created a firestorm, when it wasn't necessary to do so. It could have been handled more effectively  through dealing with the matter directly here in this group. Her posting was more a reflection of herself than the vets.

136.5 this morning.   I don't read the main forum much so I missed whatever happened, but I am sorry if people were rude.

Going to Costco this afternoon and then looking forward to True Blood this evening.

129.4 - up a little from yesterday.

I made it to the gym early in the day, but had a long, tense day puppy wrangling.  Big litter, small dog, constant vigilence. I had one little boy who was starting to fall behind. I bottle-fed him once, and then did puppy rotation on/off mom to make sure they were all nursing properly. He's fine, but getting knocked off the boobie and missing a single meal can be trouble in 2 day olds.

Then,  I had a panic attack last night when I though my momma-dog was having a seiziure due to eclampsia. She was panting and fell over backwards in the whelping box.  I put a cool coat on her, gave her some pedialyte and was calling the vet ER when we noticed she seemed just fine. I was up most of the night with her. It turned out she was trying to catch a mosquito in mid-air while nursing puppies and lost her balance. I know this, because I actually saw her do it again, this morning.

It would be much easier if we had the talking devices for dogs from UP!.

131 this morning, which is a new low... not sure how I feel about it.

I missed whatever happened on the main board as well. Worked all day yesterday and have been running around since I rolled out of bed this morning so I didn't have a chance to check the boards...

I'm not sure what was said, but let me once again say thank you to all of you that were the best vets I could have ever asked for! I am truly blessed to have found such an amazing and supportive group in you all. And you all continue to inspire and remind me of the kind of person I want/need to be.

Elina,
You were gracious enough to help me through PM several times and I've never forgotten that you didn't have to do so. I thanked you then and I will thank you again now. You have been an inspiration since before I got sleeved and I'm lucky to have a role model like you. You are one of the most gentle, amazing women I've ever "known" and if we were all half as awesome, the world would be a better place. Much love! XOXO

Thank you, I appreciate the warm comments, and in truth a little time away from the boards and some TLC from my husband and you guys have really helped and I am feeling much better.
