I am 9 months out and about 25lbs from my goal. My dr
Never gave me a goal. I recently had lab work done and am happy over all. I was in normal ranges but was a lot lower in Vitamin A. Any suggestions food wise?  My other question is for people who have been at goal for a while. Has anyone been having problems with hypoglycemic reactions?  I know of 2 people who are having these issues and was quite surprised. This is something common with bypass not the vsg I thought. Just curious. Thanks

The last few pounds were a ***** to get off for me. I had to really lower my carbs even further (from 40 to 20), lower my calories even further (from 900 to 600), drink more water (from 80 oz to 100 oz) and keep exercising. It was hard, but was worth it!!!

I have weird reactions when I eat too fast or eat something carby on an empty stomach, but I wouldn't call it hypoglycemic necessarily. I get nauseaus, tired and overall feel icky. I think it's because carbs slide right through and hit my intestines quickly. Not cool!

Ditto, what MsPoker said.
it's not necessarily hypoglycemic as it is just more sensitive to what you eat. I would call it a better awareness of whats happening in your body when food hits it at any given time.

And the last few pounds are a ***** But it can be done and in a relatively short amount of time if you put in the effort.
It's def worth it. '

Also, my vitamin A was a bit low. I was told to take a bit a tablet daily for 1 month. I have to get the labs redone at the end of this month.

There are foods listed via a google search that are high in vitamin A. I think carrots for example...just guessing from memory.
