Daily Maintenance Weigh In - Tuesday 7/3
Happy Tuesday! Today is day 13 of my 30-day no-weigh.
My boss is on vacation so I'm working long hours and no-where near as active as normal. I've been adjusting my calories accordingly. We'll see how I'm doing in a couple of weeks.

Highest weight: 335 lbs, BMI 50.9
Pre-op weight: 319 lbs, BMI 48.5
Current range: 140-144, BMI 21.3 - 22
175+ lbs lost, maintaining since February 2012

I need to get back to formal exercise. Still in vacation mode. I am so pleased that I didn't gain any weight during the two weeks that I was away. It was a major test for me and proved that I can make healthier choices, when faced with less healthy alternatives. I did eat off plan, but it was controlled and not everyday.

Finally back in my comfort zone... I say "finally" but it really only took a few days to lose the traveling water weight.

Had my one-year appt with the surgeon yesterday. *sigh* It was a bit of a let-down. He was very happy about my progress and praised me... but dismissed the notion of my counseling (I've been going for 9 months and feel it's a VERY important part of my success)... he said he did the physical part and "I'm on my own with the rest of it." Wow... disappointing for sure. Made me wonder how his stats will look over time when others struggle with the mental side of things. He is naturally thin and doesn't struggle with weight and sorta has the attitude of "don't eat if you're not hungry." I wouldn't have reached 246 pounds and needed surgery if that theory would have worked for me, dummy! Hello!! ****** me off, really.
Good thing I am self-motivated and really educated myself thanks to all of you wonderfully helpful people here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

122--up 1.2 lbs and after a 2 hour workout too. New Zumba instructor. works our pelvis to the max. Felt good to really aerobicize again and sweat a bunch. hey Pokerface, don't let you doctor rain on your parade! You have done fantastic and skinny men will never truly understand the need for therapy. He just handles the scalpels! LOL
137 this morning. Still only halfway through the report from hell. I haven't exercised for two days and feel like I need to make that a priority today.
Made the Baked Shrimp recipe from last week's People magazine last night. It was delicious. Shrimp, olive oil, lemon, garlic, white wine, salt, tomato, and red pepper flakes. Leftovers should be even better.

Last night when I got home from work there were about 20 of my little brothers friends here partying. Needless to say, I wasn't happy after being at work all day to find a bunch of hoodlums in my house/backyard drinking, swimming and making a god awful mess of my house.
Well upon waking up this morning I started cleaning up the massive mess that is my house... When it occurred to me, making him do it hungover is great punishment. So my morning will be spent making sure he cleans up the way he should. I am a mean sister. LOL

137.6 down a pound from my last avatar update. Lost a few pound doing the relay for life a few weekends ago. My girlfriend and I walked a few marathon during the 24 hours..thought the weight loss was temp but it seems to be perm. Yeah! Now just keep myself from sabatoging my way back down to goal weight :-)
