Congratulations on hitting goal!!!  We're glad to have you here with us.  I started lurking here at about halfway to learn all I could about the road ahead so I get where you're coming from, but you don't have to be "official" to post here.  Welcome!

Deb

Welcome to the group. all are welcome here regardless of phase because its never too soon to think about maintenance.

FYI, my hubby Shrinking Nerd, a 7 month sleever, is getting Cirangle to repair a hiatal hernia monday. Hubby was sleeved by Cirangle and had no detectable hernia before. Dr. says sometimes a little weakness becomes bigger when you lose weight because lots of fat holds everything in place and when its gone, things can move. Says he is seeing this more and more in maybe 5 to 10% of patients. Anyway its troublesome enough to warrant repair.

So read those old posts - there is lots of good stuff there. And participate. We love chatty people. Diane

Thank you, Diane.  Please tell the Shrinking Nerd I'll be sending him good vibes on Monday.  this may be slightly weird but it's a relief for me to know that this happens with Cirangle patients too.  I'm just sorry it had to happen to your hubby.

Thank you much for your warm welcome.  I'm very much enjoying the old posts and am taking my time going through them - learning lots!

Pura Vida!  Thank you for responding!  You are so inspirational to me!  I loved reading your post about how you managed to lose the pounds you regained.  Congratulations on that - it obviously was no small feat.  I live in fear of regaining (since it's happened on every diet I've ever been on) but your post helped me see that it's possible to catch it in time and take steps to get rid of it.  For that I thank you!

Thank you for the warm welcome.  I look forward to learning more from everyone as I go along!
