Good morning!

Consult weight: 319
Goal weight: 175
New goal range: 150-155

Today's Weight: 146.2

So I am slowly coming to the realization that my teeny tiny sleeve has turned me lacto-ovo vegetarian. When I was losing I loved the fact that a tiny amount of meat, less than 2 oz, would more than satisfy me and take a long time to clear my tummy. Now, when I'm trying to maintain at a very active lifestyle, I find that less than 2 oz of meat will still fill my stomach...and keep me from being able to get in enough calories for the day.

As a result, and without conscious thought, I went almost a week without eating any. Had some a couple of days ago on purpose and it felt like a lead weight in my tummy. I'm still getting plenty of protein (I still do smoothies and shakes, plus eggs, yogurt and odds & ends) but able to have a veggie meal every day, get my calories in and not feel miserable. I know if I have regain at any point my strategy will be back to meat. But at this point, I've become a happy accidental vegetarian.

Highest weight: 335 lbs, BMI 50.9
Pre-op weight: 319 lbs, BMI 48.5

Morning mom, being vegetarian isnt a big deal as long as you get everything you need. I tried for a bit in my younger days but failed due to a lack of enough protein and needed vitamins/minerals. I think it would be easier now with all we have to learn to be successful with the sleeve. I hope it works out for you. I would have a tough time if that is all I could eat too.

185.2 this morning

Not losing so that is a good thing. Scared me seeing 184 the other morning. Wifey is going to let me get a bluetooth heart rate monitor and scale. I am hoping it helps as I get more into fitness. Have a wonderful Tuesday all!

Good Morning

Starting Weight 233
Goal Weight 138
Todays Weight 142

A week at resort in AZ has put on a few pounds that will promptly be taken off again.
Protein shakes, no carbs, running
I should have them off by the end of the week.

I ran the first 4 days at the resort, early in the morning because I was on east coast time and was up at 4:30 but as the days went by, I got up later and later and it was too hot by then.

Glad I was able to get in some at least. I'm sure it kept the added weight from being any worse than it is.

156.  Ho hum.  Same as yesterday and the day before.  Well, it sure beats the 182 I was four months ago, the 265 I was four years ago ... and definitely beats the 292 I was at my worst.  ACK!

133.6  - my highest recorded weight since January

I gained another 1.4lbs yesterday. 4 days off diruetics, up 4.8lbs.  Water retention is the vicious cycle.  The more water you retain, the easier it is to retain because of the pressure it puts on your capillaries.

Since I'm not really carb addicted I had a small fruit cup yesterday with sliced apples and grapes. I shared w my husband. I'm adding healthy snacks. I really have no complaints about post VSG eating.

I had a couple of sips of hubbies Arby's Jamocha shake and that will never happen again. No gallbladder and I can't drink milkshakes.

Good Mo!
123.2 Stuck in scale Heaven! Love this weight. Stayed same in spite of fab mini-Mex I cooked last night. I had one heated thru corn tortilla to roll up my vieja ropa. OMG it was good, but I was satisfied with only 1 and pushed my plate away when I felt satisfied, not full (most important thing I have ever learned on here--thanx Frisco). Have a good day everyone. Hanging good Crab, hope you get back on your diuretics Krazy.

105.8 this morning. I am happy to see the 105 on the scale again. I still want to lose the .8 in the next week or so. I am eating mostly clean low carb dense protein again to stay in my comfort zone. Alan made a new pot of shredded chicken breast with veggies, fresh herbs and spices. It's very lean and healthy. He is making up for the ribs. :)

I worked out hard yesterday, and everything hurts again. Today, I was told to do 30 min. or cardio and call it a day. I might do a full hour to get that last .8 off. The trainer tells me that I need to accept the small gains, I am just not really ready to do it. I don't believe I could have gained a pound of muscle, so I want the weight off. The trainer just shakes her head at me. She told me that in the next 2-3 months, I should weigh closer to 110 lbs. I can't really wrap my head around this.
