VSG Maintenance Group
Daily Maintenance Weigh In - Saturday 6/16
Happy Saturday!
Consult weight: 319
Goal weight: 175
New goal range: 150-155
Today's weight: 145.2
Headed off for a short but steep hike today with our local hiking group; weather is glorious for it and it should be fun. Tomorrow Hubs and I are headed to Shenandoah National Park for a more ambitious hike. I love hiking in the park and George Washington National Forest because you're in tree cover most of the time. Between that and being in the mountains it's always so much cooler.
I've made my self some trail mix to help me get my calories in on hike days: peanuts, cashews, cocoa almonds, cinnamon almonds (the Blue Diamond dusted ones, not glazed) and some dried fruit. Used myfitnesspal's recipe gizmo and measured the resulting concoction to figure out the calories per quarter cup - not something you'd want to snack on freely but measured portions in a baggie will work great I think.
What are your weekend plans?

Congratulations on reaching your dream number. Now ease into maintenance by increasing some calories. I know this can be hard to do psychologically, but it's time to do it. I get what you mean on the other post about liking the feeling of losing weight, I missed it too. I found that I needed to set new goals to keep myself motivated. My goal is now to stay at or under 105 by every third Wednesday, support group meeting. Diane has some goals around time-frame as well and also some exercise goals. Goals are good.
Whoa Nellie! I'm down two more pounds!! 154. Yea!!! Let's see if I can keep a-hold of that or if I do the hippity-hop up and down and up and down again.
And yesterday was my birthday (59!), and I ate a wienie from the local hot dog joint for my b'day lunch and a little chocolate in lieu of b'day cake, heh heh. I was expecting a water-weight gain from the sodium in that hot dog at the very least. Thank you, Lord!!
