Congrats Bunnymom! How did you get the last few off? These 2 pounds are holding on for dear life!

Hi Crab--I stayed about 7 pounds up for what seemed an eternity, but it was about a month.  I was eating too much, well, enough to stay in maintenance (ie a stall) at around 1,100 cal/day and had a few ventures into never never land of 1,400 cal/day and one shocking day I actually did 1,600 calories.  I gained no weight from those calories however.  But I knew I needed to do something radical, so for the last 4-5 days I have been at 500-700 calories and have lost the last pounds doing that.  I have to be honest with you too--I cleaned out my medicine cabinet the other day and I found 2 bottles of Hoodia left over from my fat days.  I have been taking 3 pills per day and they have completely blunted my appetite and I have been able to cut calories without too much white-knuckling.  Feels like cheating when we have a sleeve/a tool.  But I just wanted to get off the last few pounds and they work on me.  I will quit them soon.  They never worked on me when I was fat, but they sure worked on me when I was only a few pounds from goal.  Good luck with those last few pounds for you--there is just no other way other than cutting way back on food or upping your fat-burning exercise.  But with so few pounds (I mean it is not like when we had 150 pounds to lose) to lose now for you, those measures will work pronto.

Gotcha!

I think I want these 2 pounds off just so I can say I'm 125-then take a picture of the scale! My doctor does not want me to go much lower. She doesn't get into the whole bmi theory and I had to reaffirm to her that I'm not anorexic.

-Mom, congratulations on having a fantastic metabolism and staying so active.  You will most likely find that you need to incorporate more fat into your diet; fat from nuts, and avocados, and even meat.

I am 104.6 again today.  Life is good, although I am super sore from the workout yesteday.  I have to somehow do cardio today and another workout tomorrow, should be interesting.

136 again today. Saw my new doctor yesterday and got my year blood work done (a little late, but better than never!) so we can figure out where this weird weak feeling is coming from.

But I'm really encouraged by her and think I'm going to love my new doc!

128.6 -- within .2lbs for 3 days running.

Still sick... really sick... I am getting in fluids, but I can barely eat. I've forced down 700 calories so far today.

I haven't worked out in almost a week.  I may have to post a whine later about the possibility of actually being worked to death.

Congrats, Mom! glad to hear your metabolism testing went well.  Nutty trailmixes are a good way to get in calories.

I am so sorry that you are not feeling well. What a bummer!!! Keep up with fluids and put protein powder in them. I hope you don't lose too much of that hard earned lean muscle mass.
