x-Post: one year post op, 10k pics, 100 pounds lost!
A year ago, I was 246 pounds, sluggish, hopeless, frustrated, on BP meds, winded, and felt like I was at the end of my rope. And then I had VSG. I'm still same happy, funny, smart, cute and sassy girl I always was, but now I'm healthier and more active. I started running a few months ago and I'm hooked. A friend convinced me to sign up for this 10k and I'm so glad she did!
What a difference a year makes! I want to share some pics from my first 10k! It was awesome! I've never run that far before (it's 6.2 miles).
