 Gail,

Are you into rafting? There is a place called Rafiki Safari Lodge that is famous for its rafting trips. It is a very popular day trip here. I think they have level 2, 3 and 4...and the water is WARM...teheheh

And yes, I have done it, but when I was heavy and it was very embarrassing to fall out the boat and have to be "rescued", I will spare you guys of posting pics of that!

Rafting was a passion of mine for many years and I always dreamdt of going to Costa Rica, where the water is warm. I know Costa Rica has some great rivers, the Pacaure (sp) for one.
I had a group of friends that rafted privately, so I was able to participate in many wonderful trips and even had my own boat and gear.

My last big trip was down the Grand Canyon about 10 years ago, just before I put on a huge amount of weight.

Interestingly enough, I just reconnected with a friend that I hadn't seen for about 9 years and I'll be going on a trip down a section of the Green River in Utah, in a couple of weeks. It will mostly be a float trip, but it will be great to get on the river again, especially in my smaller body.

I'll have to file away the name of the lodge that you mentioned. I'll get there someday.

Congratulations again. You look awesome.

You look so healthy and your weight loss is amazing!  I agree, the sleeve is a marriage after the honeymoon and it's tough to maintain, but with dedication and work, it can last.

You go girl!
Thanks for the honest post about regain. Takes a lot of courage to post that.
Some of us need a kick to realize that the M&M's aren't doing us any favours.

I haven't been on here as much as before and almost missed your post.  That would have been too bad, because I love reading about your dedication to getting "you" back.  You are a real inspiration and deserve a good deal of credit for making this happen.  It is not easy to go back to basics but it is so important for the rest of us to know that it is possible.  Thank you from the bottom of my heart for this very important post.  Oh yeah, and you look gorgeous, happy and healthy. Just beautiful!
