Ok so whats your favorite secret pleasure of being slim and at normal weight? Mine is looking at myself in store windows and going without a bra and being able to go through a whole shopping mall if I want.

What stuff do you all do that might be silly but you secretly love?

Catching a glimpse of myself in a mirror or window reflection

Laying in bed and feeling my slimness, especially at my waist and hipbones

Flexing my feet so I can see the bones & tendons in them

Shopping at any store I want to

Wearing heels!

Wearing dresses and not needing shapewear that stops my thighs from chafing

I could play this game all day long!!

It's a daily occurrence for me... almost like I can't believe I'm thin and I need to feel myself to make sure.

Being able to buy clothes in the normal dept ...not the big girl clothes.

Going to a function and actually having a choice of a few outfits to fit...instead of just one because it was the only thing that fit, not that it was cute but that it fit!

Having someone look at my drivers license and not recognize me from the picture.  This has happened to me at a store and at the airport...such a great feeling.

giving away my size 10 jeans because they are now too big...never would I have thought that would happen.  I love being a size 8!

this is a fun game Diane!

Must be a common post weight-loss high---catching a glimpse of yourself in the glass windows. I think it is because you do not plan it--all of a sudden your image is upon you and it startles you with its slimness. The other day I was walking up to the vet's office and saw myself in the glass entrance door and could not believe how shapely my legs looked in my leggings. Still shocking after having mayonnaise jars for legs all my life.

I have a lot but here are a few not mentioned.

Walking. I am 5'5 and hub is 6'2. I have to walk fast to keep up w him. This was a problem last few yrs as I had knee pain and it hurt to walk.

Looking at my pictures. I have become a real photo junkie. For 1 it helps me to see I am thinner. And 2 I think when you can take a pic and not "look" fat--then you have arrived.

Skinny sex-no explanation needed.

Getting "the look" from other women at the mall. I tend to wear clothing that hugs my figure-not tacky but I embrace curves and I work them. Just a few days ago I ran into a vitamin store and caught this woman in her car giving me the mean eye. LOL If she only knew.

Being w my kids (18 & 15) my son graduated Friday and it felt so good to walk with my kids and not be overweight. People think I am my sons sister!

Having colors (not just black) in my wardrobe

Doing stuff all day and not needing to rest (I'm wearing my DH out!)

Dancing (Oh yeah, anytime of day or night)

Having my friends joke about me turning sideways and disappearing

I could go on and on...good thread Diane...fun game!

oh yeah, i forgot about the black or navy blue wardrobe that was like a funeral director's closet. no more of that - rhinestones on my a$$ now!

and i can do a deep knee bend all the way to the floor and stand back up without holding on to anything.  interesting to discover whats in all those low cupboards and drawers.   diane
