Thought it might be fun to do a daily thread for what we are eating and how we are exercising.  Someone did it a few days ago and I thought it was a great idea to have one over here on the maintenance board.  What do you all think?

L: 4 leftover shrimp and one bite of leftover walu (fish), 1 oz beef jerky
S: 12 cinnamon almonds (Emerald brand - yum!) and 1/2 oz peanuts
D: 3 oz grilled salmon, 1/3 cup cucumber salad

You do very well!

B: Coffee w/whole milk, granola
L: 1 egg omlet w/1/2 slice cheese, onions and sausage
D: 3 oz of hamburg, 1 slice of tomato, 3 french fries (why? i don't know)

No vites today. gonna do a bone density test on Tues and I want it very clean because I'm a little ocd.
Raining a lot today so no running (sigh) and I just got back from NH so no time for treadmill.
Tomorrow will be my day.

Well, I overindulged earlier in the week so now I must do more of the basics to even things out or the scale will not be kind to me.  LOL

I usually eat more food and less bars, but I had my favorite food in the whole world at lunch and haven't had much desire to eat other than get my calories in since.  A Vietnamese restaurant opened up here in Lakeland, and it's quite good. I could eat vietnamese every day -- and in fact at one point in my life I did when I had a Vietnamese roomate after I graduated from college and moved to Northern VA.  I literally hear the choir's of heaven when I eat a good bowl of Pho. Pho is pretty much the perfect combination of flavors for my palate, and it satisfies me better than anything else I eat. Without the noodles( which I have no problem handing off to my husband), it's beef broth, onion, bean sprout, and lean brisket soup (I don't go for the tendon and tripe, generally) which is uber VSG friendly.

Praise the lord, and pass the Sricahai! I no longer have to drive an hour for Pho (or make it myself)!

I like this thread. Gives me ideas for alternatives. I have a pretty boring menu.

Yay!!!  I'll play!!!  This is for Saturday.  I was out and about all day with kid activities, so I packed a cooler with real food and some road food.  My family actually ate out at a restaurant that does not have gluten free options, but they know me well and let me bring my own food in, while my family eats there food, I eat from my cooler.

Early B-coffee with coconut creamer

B- 3.5 ounces of plain sauteed pork with a few slices of fresh raw red peppers.

L-premade GNC total lean protein shake, swiss chocolate

D- 3.5 ounces of plain sauteed pork with a few slices of fresh raw red peppers. (I brought this into the restaurant)

S-coffee with half and half

S- PB&J Quest bar (eaten at a coffee shop while family was plowing through desserts.
