Good morning.

I got nothing this morning. Having intestinal issues and while I weighed myself I think it's artificially low due to hydration and not having eaten much yesterday. So....not recording a weight today.

Yesterday was 147.6

How is everyone doing today?

Highest weight: 335 lbs, BMI 50.9
Pre-op weight: 319 lbs, BMI 48.5
Current range: 140-144, BMI 21.3 - 22

175+ lbs lost, maintaining since February 2012

Doing good, got the sticker shock for plastics yesterday evening. Guess thats going to have to wait longer then I thought

Since I have no one else to blame for evening needing it though I guess I will deal with it for now.

Thats a bummer with the sticker shock. Have you heard of dr. Sauceda in Mexico? He has a tremendous following on the plastic surgery board and his prices are reasonable. He is in las vegas this weekend doing consults, but if you email him photos, he will give you a quote via email. Best of luck,

Thank you for the suggestion but I had my plication done in Mexico and with the serious complications I had if I tried to go back I think my family would disown me lol. It is, I found, worth the extra money to have your surgeon local just in case. Perhaps I will do a section at a time down the road. I will get there at some point. My masters better pay off dangit!

I went the route of a teaching hospital. Have you looked into them? That's how I did my LBL. I'm doing my gynecomastia in two weeks.

Hmm, sounds scary. I will look into it though. I am in Houston so as big as it is here I am sure there are those options. How did you get hooked up with the choice you made?

In my local support group. A couple of people had procedures with them. The Surgeon I used had 15 years of expereince doing surgeries of those 7 years strictly plastics. There is a board Certified attending surgeon supervising.

He actually setting up his own practice in Texas in July. I beleive in El Paso.

Oh toot, I'm back up to 159. Boy, that one day at 156 was a treat, but then I ate some garbage (Why do I do that when I'm so excited to see the weight come off????? I guess that's why it is called an eating disorder, bah.)

The positive thing is that I didn't get away with it; it showed up right away on the scale!!
