How do you deal...?

I do a combination of what Diane wrote and what Frisco does.  I take smaller bites over a longer period of time and I make sure that every bite is great.  I always cook things that can be eaten in very small bits.  I cut up my veggies into very small parts and my protein is very well marinated and sauced.  These things help me feel satisfied.

I still occasionally have the wants after I'm done.. but I rationalize and tell myself that I can have more at my next meal. Sometimes I just make things that taste too good

Thanks for all the great bits of advice!!!  I love this board and you all!!! 

I can say that even when I have this issue I still don't over do it!  But I do have to work on slowing down and maybe chewing those little bites a little longer!!
