You look great, Trish! I, too, carried all my weight up top and had quite a few co-morbidities despite being a relative light weight--isn't is nice to leave all that behind!! You have done a great job, and I can most definitely see the muscles in your arms!!

Thanks Liz, you carried all your weight up top too?  I had the comorbidities of a person much much heavier and I have lost all of them.  Did you have several too?  Ditching the CPAP was the best one to lose.  Were you on a CPAP machine?  I went in for another sleep study and was told I no longer have sleep apnea!!!!

I just got my labs back and finally, for the first time since surgery, my cholesterol was down.   It's at 184 now.  6 months ago, it was still at 244.  I have not taken any cholesterol meds.  I got it down myself, but it took time.

Thanks for noticing my muscles.  I'm pretty proud of my guns!  .  I love muscle!

I had sleep apnea, I'm quite sure, but it had not been formally diagnosed so I wasn't on a CPAP, but the snoring has completely stopped. My cholesterol was horribly and  I had insulin resistance and was pre-diabetic. All that is normal now. And I had high blood pressure, which I still have, unfortunately, but it's hereditary according to my doctor. I also had a BR--best thing EVER!

Yes, muscle is good! You are doing everything right, my friend!

Hey Lizanne, that's right, I remember that you talked to me about BR before my surgery.  Thank you.  I feel the same way as you, next to VSG, it's the best thing I've ever done for myself.  My girls are so perky and small.  It's a dream come true!  No more back, neck and shoulder pain!!!

I  understand what your saying about blood pressure.  Darn-it.  That heredity thing gets us everytime!!!

I'm glad you got rid of so many comorbidities!  We've prolonged our lives by getting our sleeves and making it a success. HIGH FIVE!

You look "mahvelous"!!!!

Did I ever tell you that you had your VSG on my birthday?  Between that and the kerchiefed chicken, those are just two of the reasons you have always stood out to me!

Your starting weight is very similar to where I am right now.  I hope that I will be able to duplicate your success!

Congratulations!!!

PS:  I only have 1 1/2 pounds left until I am eligible.  They are being kind of stubborn, but the realization of surgery is in sight now!

Really??  My Sleeve is on your birthday?  That's cool!  What were you doing on your birthday in 2010???  I was being carved like a turkey, followed by making my nurses miserably with my non stop whining.......Ha HA Ha....oh wait, I felt nothing because of of overuse of the morphine button and lots of inappropriate hysterical laughter!  Actually, it was a combo of both

I'm so excited for you, it shouldn't be long now!!!

I know you are going to be successful, and we are here for you every step of the way.

Way to go knocking off the weight you need to lose pre-surgery!!!!

P.S.  That chicken was legendary.  When I make goal, I'm bringing her back as a sign!!!!

You. Look. Amazing!

Some people might not support my WLS decision.
Those people remind me of slinkys. Not good for much but it would would bring a smile to my face if someone pushed them down the stairs.
