3rd day in a row. Hopefully, the upward trend is finished. I have actually been increasing my calories a bit. When I had my body fat tested, according to my lean muscle mass, I need to be eating a bit more calories. Interestingly, when I dropped calories, I started to gain, instead of losing. It is so confusing at times. I think going low at this point in time, with less body fat, isn't the way to go. I think, one loses more lean muscle mass, which slows the metabolism. The low caloric range is more suitable, in the early stages, when one has more body fat stores to draw energy from. My bottom range is going to be 1200 cal/day and not lower. Looking back on my food records, I was lower, when I was eating more calories/day. The weight training has definitely increased my lean muscle mass, which has helped to improve my metabolism.
