OT Solar Eclipse
Jus****ched the solar eclipse up here on the north coast. Awesome! We had some clouds but they parted for about 80% of the event. Now the fog has rolled in and no sign of the sun. We watched it through welders masks. Worked great. Not an nsv as I could have done this as a fat person but its still nice to do stuff on the thin.
Shrinking Nerd had a nice afternoon as we attended a performance of the community choir. He usually sings in it but has been out since his surgery 6 months ago due to fatigue and hoarsness. All were astounded at his 146 lb weight loss. He should be back singing soon as he is getting energy back. Peace.. (eclipse inspired me to say that)

We saw it here too in Southern Oregon. Used welders mask too, then when the clouds and the moon obscured it, could see it with naked eyes. Saw the ring of fire for about 20 seconds before clouds moved in, then pretty much stayed in for the finale. It was phenomenal. Loved it.
